Book Party!!!

Thanks to all who came to the packed out book party this weekend! It was a blessing to see so many friends from the various efforts and experiences that I wrote about in this new book.

This was a time to thank God for seeing this project through, as well as to thank all the people who were part of the stories told in the book or who encouraged and supported me during the writing process. I'm especially grateful to Joanne and Eric Norregaard who hosted the party at their home and made so much good food. I'm continually amazed by their hospitality, which I write about on page 189 by the way. Eric also wrote the discussion questions at the end of each chapter.

Thanks also to my WCAC neighbors at Parkside: Jennifer Carver, Liz Dong, Ellen Leahy, and Josh Martin for helping in different ways, and for the ICE CREAM CAKES :)
